It’s almost that time… yes, it’s nearly Toyfair 2012!
Toyfair 2012 is at Olympia in Kensington from the 24th-26th January. You can still register as press and come along, we would LOVE to see you!
I’m afraid since it’s a trade show, it is regrettably no children allowed though… which is a shame because we’re sure they would love it!
You can find all the information you need right here at http://www.toyfair.co.uk/ so why don’t you come along, pick up a press pack (which we’ve been beavering away at) and your own small free gift!
Remember you need to register in advance in order to gain a press pass but we would love it if all you bloggers out there came and had a look around (we are on stand E20 if you want to come see us!)
It’s also nearly time for Spring Fair too!
Spring Fair is from the 5th-9th February 2012 at the NEC Birmingham. You can find all the information you need for the Spring Fair on http://www.springfair.com/
We look forward to seeing you all!

My First ToyFair 2012
So yesterday I went to my first ever ToyFair and I was amazed! The rows and rows of stands with different toys and games completely overwhelmed me.
My day started at 4.30am when I managed to drag myself out of bed to get ready for the long day ahead of me. When I was all ready and packed up, I drove to the train station and waited for my 6.32am train (I was at this point thinking I should only just be waking up for work now!)
After changing trains at Milton Keynes Central, I arrived at Kensington Olympia at around 8.10am where I called Helen to tell her I had made it! (Now anyone who knows me will know I am beyond shocking with directions… even on the train!)
Helen arrived at the exhibitors entrace with my pass and then the day began. The show opened at 9am so me and Dave went for a wander around the show. Lego, Marbel, Mattel all had amazing stands but obviously my favourite was the John Crane Stand. It was like our entire showroom had transported to London and it looked fantastic!
We spent a lot of time admiring other stalls, getting lots of ideas and getting a feel for the toy industry as a whole. I am definitely loving my job in the toy industry… it’s brilliant!
Don’t worry if you missed this years ToyFair… there is always 2013! I can’t wait!
